Coffee with Identity
Coffee cultivation in the region began in the 19th century. Since then, the blend of coffee farming, the terroir, and the distinctive way of life and work of the people has shaped the unique identity of Campo das Vertentes’ coffee.
The region spans 17 municipalities in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, with altitudes ranging between 900m and 1100m, generating 75,000 direct jobs and 156,000 indirect jobs in the coffee production chain

A non-profit organization that manages the Geographical Indication and the Local Productive Arrangement (LPA) for coffee farming in Campo das Vertentes.
The Geographical Indication seal certifies the coffee’s origin, recognizes its quality and uniqueness, and tells the story of the producer.
